My can of 100% pure pumpkin has 6 grams of sugar per serving. Is that ok? The only ingredient is pumpkin. I just had 1 cup pumpkin, 1 packet stevia, cinnamon, and 1 oz cream cheese. Now I am worried it was not legal. Does the 1 cup of pumpkin count as my “other” veggies today?

Re: canned pumpkin ?
It was 100% pure pumpkin and not pumpkin pie mix, correct?
If so, it's ok.30/f

Re: canned pumpkin ?
there is a recipe on sugar free sheila's site for mini pumpkin cheesecakes - I make them in a cupcake tin with a little home made whipped cream (heavy cream and splenda) it really hits the spot when you feel like dessert. and cupcake size helps control portions (use cupcake liners so no mess!)

Re: canned pumpkin ?
Oh, I am so into pure, unadulterated pumpkin - and don't forget, you can add this to Induction-friendly shakes, Induction-friendly pancakes, in those little mini-cheesecakes, and even in a Mock Pumpkin Cheesecake where you can add butter to taste, ground cinnamon, cream cheese, and Splenda to it. There is just so much you can do with it, so please do give it a whirl if you haven't already!Sheila, Founder of SugarFreeSheila.com
