Motivational Song Lyrics... Kind of silly!

I wanted to post the lyrics to a song from my favorite band, The Mad Caddies. It is a song about getting sober but it makes me think about my weight loss every time I hear it. It's called "Today".

Thank you for posting that! I was actually thinking a while back of asking anyone to post song lyrics that are motivational but my mind wandered to something else and the thought was gone.
I actually have copied some of the slogans that people here have posted in their signatures and I read over the copy to keep myself going sometimes. One of my favorites (I don't know who to give credit to) is "I can have results or I can have excuses but I can't have both"...and a bunch of others.
I really like those lyrics so now I'll have to see if I can find a place to hear the song for free online.

I don't think it's silly at all. Anything that motivates you is awesome!

I used to use a quote from a Tim McGraw song:

This song always reminded me of how I feel about myself. I do love myself as a person, but I hate this weight that I've lived with for so long.
