  • How to unsubscribe threads from my email?

I have so many threads from this forum on my email account that I am overwhelmed. I tried clicking on the unsubscribe page but it didn't let me ask for no future threads to be posted on my email, except for private messages, I would like to get my private messages. I also wrote to the Atkins board and I still get the threads.

    Can anyone help me, please?

I'm not sure I quite understand, but I think what you want to do is go to USER CP, select
EDIT OPTIONS from the list on the left. Under "Default Thread Subscription Mode" change the drop down to "No email notification". Below that in the "Private Messaging" section make sure that "Receive Email Notification of New Private Mesages" is checked.

Aha! So that is the magic. I did as you suggested, Grant, thank you,

Kawi - that will stop you automatically subscribing to threads you post to from now on, but I dont think it will stop the existing notifications.

So to unsub from previous threads you will have to click on the 'subscriptions' option in your user control panel to see the list of threads and click beside each one to unsub from them.

Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
