This is what I found to be a typical atkins timescale for me:
-2 days - eat all the carbs in the house
-1 days - spend a fortune on meat, cheese and eggs
start - Wake up and cheer because you can have bacon and egg....slightly disappointed that toast and brown sauce is out of the question.
days 1-3 Fairly easy, using up your supply of chicken and finding stir frys quickly becoming your best friends.
day 4 - You notice that you had a good drop in weight immediately and you have a renewed sense of optimism
days 5 - 7 ARRRGGGHHH!!!! If I even look at another egg, I'll be sick....gimme some toast...a nice crisp apple (which you never bothered eating before!) or a Mars Bar!!
days 8 - 12 Settled in now, and you're having to remind yourself that you need to eat. You've hardly got any appetite, and you find that you've got bags more energy. Getting out of bed of a morning is much easier.
days 12 - 14 You can't put your finger on it, but you just feel better about yourself. Yeah, it can be a pain trying to prepare breakfast, but it's not too bad. You've also found that you're learning how to cook!
days 14 - 16 You just get used to the diet, when you forget that you're now in OWL and you can start eating more things. You're waking up of a morning to found that you've lost 1lb in your sleep and people are beginning to notice your weight loss.
........Well I'm only up to this part so far, but I've done Atkins twice and this is the scale I go through. Days 5-7 are the hardest by far.
