    OK- here is the situation. I am out of my mind! I have done something crazy!

    I have signed up for a marathon! Yes, a marathon.............yes....26 miles. I can't believe I have done this. I am so scared. It is 10/7/07. That is 20 weeks from today. My question is that do you think I can lose 80-100lbs by then with this WOE?
    I'll be honest, I did this to motivate myself to get back in shape. I figure that carbs will scare me instead of entice me from now on. Really though, I am sick of being fat. I want my life back.

    Jennifer... that's terrific! Good for you for signing up for a marathon... and how brave! Does it matter if you don't lose 80-100 lbs by then? Not really... thing is, you'll be trimmer than you are now and in better shape too if you follow the plan and do some preparatory training. And if you do lose the amount you want by then, then that's great too! It's a win-win situation!

    Keep us posted as to your progress. It'll be great to cheer you on!
