This started with my post thinking about doing an atkins shake for breakfast and one for lunch plus good high fat snacks and an atkins dinner. But then I started thinking about owl as another way to get out of my current stall. Then it turned into am I even doing this right to begin with? So I need some help please.
I am still on induction. I am losing inches but not much weight. I know I need to be moving up the rungs but I am just afraid it will cause a stall and I have been waiting till I do a completely clean 2 week induction…I had no problem doing that the first time but this time around it seems like I cant go more than a few days without blowing my cheese limit or popping a Hershey’s kiss or getting one sip of milk or having a stinking diet dr pepper…all small stuff really and I probably should move into owl cause I might never have a completely perfect induction at this rate. Then there is the problem of the first rung…more veggies. I have to be completely honest and say I don’t count carbs…ever. I just eat meat, 3 ounces of cheese, 2 cups of salad list veggies, and 1 cup of broccoli, cauliflower, sauerkraut, or pumpkin. I never go over my artificial sweetener allowance. I drink like 8 – 10 bottle of water per day. I have some ranch dressing most days but not much so I have just always assumed that I am under my carb limit. I don’t do fitday cause it just seems like so much work and it confuses the heck out of me. Ok…so with my current way of doing atkins (which is all wrong I am sure)…how many cups of veggies would I add on owl? I understand the whole only eat the extra veggies every other day for the first week but just hate to try and count carbs. Maybe I just need to reread the book and start counting carbs like everyone else. I did it “my way” the first time around and lost about 10 – 15 pounds on extended induction and I have lost this time as well but now that I have so little left to loose (and it is in all the hard to lose places) I just bounce around from 132 – 128. I need everyone’s opinions on this if you have the time.
PS – Don’t be too hard on me…lol
