    Re: 30 pcs.Green Olive

You are limited to the amount of olives you can eat daily on induction. Olives are in a special food category of the induction foods. You may eat 10-20 olives each day. I assume it's 20 olives if they're small, or 10 if they're large? Make sure to COUNT THE CARBS for the olives in your daily totals. Another word of precaution--olives are generally very salty and may cause water retention, so they might not be a great everyday thing to eat.

        Hi Delight,

Have you tried the Snack section of the Recipe forum?

I personally like cheese strings and like maybe five olives. Cucumber slices, sliced up chicken "fingers"..no breading, "roll-ups"..these are a piece of sandwich meat with some cream cheese inside, mock danishes (the recipe should be in the recipe section), celery with cream cheese filling, sugar-free jello with a little dollop of (no sugar) whipping cream, diet orange Crush (this is sweetened with Splenda, so is induction friendly) if you pour a tbsp of whipping cream into it..it tastes like an orange creamsicle mmm, grape tomatoes, and verrry occasionally some pork rinds with Frank's Hot Sauce as dip (this is not so good for you because it's salty and can make you retain water..but gets rid of that need to eat something naughty ).

You can have combinations of things so you don't get bored. All you have to remember is to count the carbs into your daily total of 20g).

        Have a good snack!

My favourite snack at the moment is a small slice of crustless quiche made with eggs, cream, cheese, bacon and cooked grated cauliflower. Filling and delish!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
