    I've done this before.

    This is the last time I will have lost this much weight.
    This now a WOL.

    I'm fifteen pounds from goal and am focused on getting there and achieving all my running goals for the year.

    I've gone up through all the rungs in OWL. Carbs around 40 per day. Still adding carbs and any new foods I may have missed along the way.

    Only 5 pounds 'til Pre-Maintenance. Never made it this far actually following the ENTIRE DANDR.

    I'm close enough now that I am getting PSYCHED UP to hang out in the Maintenance forum when I banish these last pounds.

    I'm in no hurry. If it takes a few months to lose these last pounds, OK.

        This was taken October 2007, I weigh 375.

        I was on atkins last year in the early fall and lost about 30 pounds. I obviously gained it back...but I know this is the right diet for me as it works very good. So I am back!

                    Fantastic!! May I ask how long you have been running? I want to run in a 5K in Sept, but have not started running yet. My plan is to start running when I hit 170, my goal weight is 134. Any advice?

                    Goal # 1 Reduce my waist enough so fitting into a pair of jeans will not make me feel like a sausage with a tight string cinched around my bulging waist.
                    Goal # 2 Have my thighs become less familiar with one another. I am tired of them rubbing up against each other when I walk.
                    Goal # 3 Be able to see my back without those flabby rolls under my bra line, you know I could store things in those roll creases, a book to read, small toy etc
                    Goal # 4 Run a 5k in Sept. and continue this WOE.

                        Rich, you are proving that what's in the past is IN THE PAST .. and there is no looking back! Congratulations on heading towards pre-maintenance and most of all, for reaping the rewards of following DANDR as written!!!!!!! And that includes your unrelenting commitment to exercise (read: RUNNING!) You have done an outstanding job and it shows!!!! BRAVO!

                          I too, will NEVER lose this weight again. I'm 2/3 of the way there and look forward to hanging out with you in LIFETIME Maintenance!
