    Medifast Diet

    Does anyone have any experience with this diet or know anyone who does? I know that it has a strong medical backing but I don't personally know anyone who has done it. I just saw it in people magazine.

    I have seen it in magazines as well. I am sorry I don't have any other information about it. Are you considering trying it?

    This was taken October 2007, I weigh 375.

    I was on atkins last year in the early fall and lost about 30 pounds. I obviously gained it back...but I know this is the right diet for me as it works very good. So I am back!

      Yes. I think I will. I'm one of the strange people who do better when they have less diet choices. They don't have as much flexibility as something like Atkins, but I will do better on it. My goal is to do it until I lose about half my weight and then switch back over to atkins. I'm losing really really slowly on atkins and completely losing my determination. Medifast helps you lose it fast and my doctor recommended it to see some quick results. However, it's not a very good diet for lifestyle change so I will come back to atkins after some progress.
