  • Fat Help...

    Hi all,
I don't think I am eating enough "fat".
Can anyone give me some ideas on how to get more fat in?
I know Olive oli on things, but what else can I do.
I think I eat to much chicken that has like ZERO fat.
I have been eating more and more chicken lately.
Anyways, any ideas of really fatty things would behelpful
    Thanks

The good news is that it doesn't take much fat at all to balance out your percentages--usually just a tablespoon! I eat a lot of grilled chicken, and usually I make wing sauce for it, which is Frank's Red Hot mixed with melted butter. Just that single tablespoon of butter counteracts the lean protein of the chicken.

And remember, fat doesn't have to be a sauce or something eaten directly on the chicken. It can be something else eaten with the meal.

    Good sources of fat:
    cheese
    ranch dressing
    olive oil
    butter
    nuts
    bacon
    avocado
    sour cream
    heavy cream
    eggs
    peanut butter

One thing I really like with chicken is mayo. Pull & dip, YUM!
also bacon for breakfast helps add the fat calories.
