  • Ice & Ice Water Question

I am trying to figure out the amount of water I need to drink everyday. A few sites say for weight loss try to drink half your weight in Ounces - which for me would be alot (136 oz daily). Other sites say 8 oz plus another 8 for every 25 pounds you have to lose (96 oz daily).

I have a 3L (101 oz) container to keep on my desk. I like to fill the container up with crushed ice and then add cold water to it. I only have time to make one trip to the cafeteria. Does anyone know how many ounces I should count for the container and ice? I am pretty sure that I can't count it as 101 oz. since ice volume doesn't equal water volume.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Just count it as 101 oz. and call it good. No need to worry about give or take 1/2 an oz. because of ice.

I'm moving this thread to another forum, as unfortunately is not a challenge thread.
