  • I don't know what to title this thread

    so I keep telling myself I will try atkins again I do good for a few days then fall off the wagon.. I usually cant go more than about 3 days.. however Ive been pretty much on plan for the past week..except for one day.. its really about choices you have to decide what you will and won't eat. I really at this point am not measuring my weight or inches because until I feel like I can really really stick to this for longer than a few days I dont feel like I should be worrying about weight. right now my goal is to stick to the plan.

    and I was wondering if anyone else had trouble with will power and what do you do when you just want to say screw it and eat a bunch of carbs?

    Well, I can tell you that when the nasty thought occurs in my head, I literally have to move...if it means I have to walk out of the kitchen or out of the room, I do it.

    Sometimes you just have to suck in your pride and get away from the high carbs.

      Hi fivebyfive, I went to fitday.com, it really helps you stay on track and helps give you a focus point. I managed to get back on track this time. I was doing the same thing you are. It's just something you have to set your mind to and stick with it. Also plan, plan, plan. Make sure you have enough induction food around to keep you going for a week at a time or two. That really helps prevent you from pitfalls. Also start reading the Atkins book it will help motivate you again. Journaling is also really important. If you have some L-Glutamine on hand, take it, it will help you with the cravings. You can do this. sincerely Sherri.
