well it must be or else i would have strangled someone or thrown my new scales out of the house by now!! ha ha ha!!!! just kidding. well as you all know, my fiance threw my old scale in the GARBAGE CAN two weeks ago. we were BOTH sick and tired of getting on 3 times and getting 3 very different readings. he went out and got a new one and i have to say, i do like it. it is consistant and that is a good thing.
a short while ago i was one pound from goal, so excited...yippee! then.....a sudden gain of 4 back up to 158/159. i had been doing slim in 6 faithfully and i LOVE it. lost a ton of inches. but still, the scale would not budge. so my son/personal trainer suggested that i change up my workout. 2 weeks ago when i got out of school i started doing 30 HARD minutes on the elliptical again, followed by using my 5 pound hula hoop and working my arms with the resistance band. TODAY I AM AT 155.5. SO CLOSE......but not close enough to call it goal. nope. i will wait until i am THERE but friends, when i do, you will hear me shouting all across the US ofA!!!!
well, i don;t wanna be tooting my own horn (as mama used to say).....but i am really posting this to let you all know that this LIFESTYLE has its ups and downs.....sometimes you go up and sometimes you go down but if you STICK TO THE PLAN.....eventually you will get to where you want to be. BE SURE TO ENJOY ALL THE SMALL VICTORIES ALONG THE WAY.......do NOT wait to get to GOAL to CELEBRATE any of your successes!!! all those small victories are what will keep you motivated. i have less patience than any human being i know.....but thanks to all my buddies here, i have learned to let my BODY do the work...i listen to it, i am faithful to this WOE, i exercise it, i hydrate myself (to the point of drowning!) , i READ ALOT!!! i really try to learn from all of YOUR experiences...thank you! stay tuned....i hope to have a little PAR-TAY real soon! i think i will avoid the scale til monday. sure hope i don't do that +4 thing again! all i can do is my best.....i'll get there!!! i am just excited to know WHEN! patience....patience.....patience.......
