  • 8 days DOWN!!!!

    Hey guys!!

    So, I started Atkins on last Tuesday and I have NOT exercised (like in the gym) - HOWEVER I walk over an hour a day in the city and sweat my tush off because I've been hunting for an apartment to move into!! hehe....I don't just walk slowly either - I BOOK IT!! So that's been my form of exercise but SINCE I STARTED...

    (My clothes are fitting better and my face has gotten clearer and I can wake up easily after only 6 hours of sleep!!!) - I love it.

    The best part is I just got Sheila's Low Carb Books in the mail today with all those recipe's and I'm SO EXCITED!!! It's been particularly easy thus far and I'm only going to get leaner and leaner, yayy!!!

    i think walking is great, and i personally recommended it over running becuase once you lose weight and you are lighter, its easier to start running!

    i dont use my car now. so it forces me to walk everywhere, i tend to average about 2-3 miles a day.

      walkings great exercise, dont knock it! you can build it up as you lose weight!

          You don't have to go to a gym at all ! Your walking is TERRIFIC EXERCISE so keep it up!!!! You're doing AWESOME!

            I'll echo the others and say that walking, especially brisk walking, is great exercise! See, you've been exercising the whole time, after all!

            Don't you just love it how Atkins improved your life in ways you never expected? You sound so happy and pumped about it!

            Doh! You just had to bring up Sheila's books again, didn't you? <whine> I waaaaaaaant them!
