    Does anyone take over the counter weight loss pills while on atkins? I would like to try it out to see if it gives me an extra boost, especially beng that I don't seem to be getting the "atkins energy"!

    Oh gosh. Don't do that! Most of them don't work and some of them are actually dangerous. Besides, caffeine is an ingredient in a good many of them and on Atkins, you need to limit it.

    Are you exercising? Though I hate it, I do find that I get an energy boost from it.

    What about water? Are you getting enough? Atkins is somewhat dehydrating and being only slightly dehydrated can make you feel sluggish.

    Why don't you take the money you had planned on spending on those pills (they're expensive!) and put it up towards some fabulous new clothes when you're smaller. At least then, you'll get something concrete and satisfying out of your money.

      I've done diet pills. Over the counter and (embarrassed) prescription over the net.

      Just say no to drugs.

      Once you stop them, you'll gain back whatever you lost while taking them.

        Yes I am drinking tons of water! (feel like I am sloshing sometimes)! But, still feeling very drained! Today is my 12th day on atkins, so it shouldn't be the "atkins flu".

          no don't take any diet pills...as what purple said..u will gain back what u lost while taking those pills..

            Any chance it's that time of the month? That can make you feel a bit draggy.

            Don't go for the pills -- scary stuff.

              Have you tried listing a few days menus in the 'review my menu forum'. You might not be eating enough food, or not getting enough nutrients!
