  • I think L-Carnitine works

I posted a inquiry a week or so ago asking if anyone knew if the L-Carnitine supplement actually will trip you into lyposysis once your Ketostix goes negative or trace- CONSIDERING YOU ARE MAINTAINING INDUCTION. None of the answers I got back satisfactorily answered my question. At the time, my Ketostix said trace for several days- I went on 500 mg Carnitine 3 times a day with meals. After 5 days my Ketostix went up to moderate - which has been maintained for 3 days now-in my 3rd week induction. I know this is hardly proof- it is only one gal's experience. How about others trying this- what do you have to loose.

You'll never get a straight answer when its to do with ketostix, so sorry if what you got back wasnt satisfactory enough for you.

Ketostix dont work for everyone theyre just one of those things, thats the main reason why you wont hear what you want to.

Personally they work for me and i aim for traces, i know my body is happy if its only traces, because im drinking enough water and my body isnt getting dehydrated... secondly, as some will say, they are like being pregnant if that stick changes even slightly, you are in ketosis.

Lots of things affect the result, from the amount or carbs (obviously) to the amount of water, the amount of exercise, the time of day. so Yes, im sure whatever it is your taking will effect them too. Just remember most people on this WOE never use a ketostick and still successfully reach goal.

All ketosis means is that you're eating less than 100g carbs a day.
