well I have a dessert I love for the sweet tooth /// 3oz cream cheese... 2 tbsp canned 100% pumpkin 1 packet of splenda.. it a mock pumpin pie .. you melt it in the MW 45 seconds.. stir it and voila! Well I like to chill it an it it as an ice cream portion but remember to subsctract 1/2 cup of "cooked" veggies and your 3oz cheese allowance and same with the splenda packet.. 8gr carbs .. enjoy!

pork rinds are great to munch on when all and sundry and eating chips etc around you -- they are a bit salty so make sure you drink lots of water with them. make sure you check the labeling to get the ones with 0 carbs or very low carbs .

You can make an awesome potato salad. Use steamed califlower in place of Potatos, then add whatever induction ingredients you would normally use. I use celery hard boiled eggs mustard onions and mayo.

Lili, you just eat your whole, unprocessed, HEALTHY foods and laugh yourself all the way into those skinny jeans.

You can make GREAT hot wings--buy chicken wings (or even chicken tenders if you're like me and hate bone and gristle), marinate in hot sauce (or hot sauce and mustard) and grill. Once off the grill, toss in melted butter and more hot sauce. NOBODY will think you're on a "diet" with these babies!

You can make your own cole slaw, too. Shred cabbage, add mayo, vinegar, and SPLENDA instead of sugar. I actually buy the broccoli slaw mix (but I would not recommend you do, unless you want to pick out all the carrot shreds--those aren't legal until Rung 8 of OWL!) and my boyfriend LOVES it. This, from a man who is the pickiest eater on EARTH!

Fresh veggies with ranch dressing are a hit, too. You'd be surprised at the people who will eat healthy foods when given the option.

OOOOOOOOOH you can also make jalapeno poppers! Jalapenos count as a salad veggie. Linda's site has the recipe. Just warning you, they are HOT! I love them with just cheese, or with bacon wrapped around them.

i would say that hubby laughing at you would actually inspire you to prove him WRONG!!!!! You hang in there and when they wave their treats in front of you remember your goal and keep your eye on the prize . There will be times when you are tempted ( like yesterday for me - having dinner with the inlaws and the lovely cream sponge with berry sauce which everyone ate in front of me while I opted for just strawberries -- i dont want others to go without on my account -- besides ATKINS HAS GIVEN ME THE POWER to say no thanks and having stayed strong and not waivering is a very empowering feeling. I just spent the weekend away - stayed on plan - and was rewarded with a nice loss on the scales when i got home( yay)
You will do just fine lilr - good luck!

I'm going to a 4th picnic and will be bringing egg salad. It's usually induction safe the way most people make it anyway but since I'm making it I KNOW it will be OK. As you said, chicken or beef without the sauce, veggies/salad. With all that I can't imagine not feeling satisfied eh?

you can also make cheesy snaps by spreading grated parmesan cheese into rounds on a baking paper covered baking tray and baking them in the oven until they are crispy
