  • Can Someone Please help!

Hi everyone today is day 13 for me..I was doing GREAT!! However a while back my doc prescribed ATARAX for me due to eczema. I refused to take anything during induction other than vitamins. However after one week my skin was going crazy. I began taking it 3 days ago..as of that I was down 7 pounds and thirteen total inches. I woke up today and have gained 3 pounds back! I am soooo frustrated and just want to say I"M DONE!!! I feel like I have been killing myself with exercise..no cheating...and now I am 3 pounds up! I have done all reasearch this moring and have found very rare cases of this causeing weight gain. So is anyone out there having any similar probs?..been on this medicine? Or have a better medicine to suggest for eczema that actually works? Any advice is helpful. I just don't know what to do. I do not want to quit this diet..but I also can NOT handle my skin either. PLEASE HELP!!!

You need to eat something like 1500 calories above your usual daily food intake in order to gain 1 pound of fat. The chances are good that the "gain" is water retention. Nothing to worry about imo.

You might want to ask your doctor for medicine alternatives.

my weight fluctuates up and down all the time -- but it is purely water retention. When i was at the stage that you are at my weight went up and down like a yoyo and I didnt "lose" anything for about 3 weeks as my body was adjusting. Then I lost a few more kilos then the weight loss stopped for a few weeks more , then lost again. This seems to be how my body operates( and I think many other peoples as well) you need to be very patient . It may not be the medication causing this at all but just your body adjusting
