Ketosis Question

Does pee smell weird when one's in ketosis? I don't use Ketostix. I was just wondering.

yeah, I've heard that there's a metallic weird taste in the mouth (which I haven't noticed so far).. but I was wondering about pee, cuz I thing there's a weird smell .. but not a strong color.. LOL too graphic >>???? I'm soorry! Is just that ketostix are expensive and I'd like something that tells me I'm in ketosis (I've been stalled for days now)... I drink 1 gallon of water a day so I know it's not cuz it's concentrated... .. .. ..

It's probably exactly what you are smelling unless you had some asparagus for dinner, hehe, I smell it too at times but not all the time. My breath however, is CRAZY ketones!

I have both the stinky pee and the metallic mouth. I don't complain though cause I am hoping my body realizes I am in ketosis and drops some of my weight. The sticks are fun to play with but you don't need them to recognize ketosis.

I've heard about asparagus before.. a friend of mine told me that once she woke up in the middle of the night with a strange smell.. and looked frantically for it.. until she went to her baby's crib and checked his diaper... he had had a bunch of asparagus for dinner and he was only a year old LOL ..
But no, I never have them... so, now I know I'm in ketosis!! Thank you girls!
