what do i do with them? the instructions are chinese/japanese!

I got some beef jerky too... just cos i hear people talk about it! OMG how GROSS! how do you eat that stuff!!

I also got some salad dressings as ive struggled to find some here with an acceptable carb count and some curry ingredients

but yeah, what do you do with your noodles? and what do you have them with?

Beef jerky in the UK is really salty. Have you seen the bags in the supermarket? I wouldnt ever touch the stuff.

Make it and eat it like you would regular spaghetti.

I just found some shirataki in my grocery. I am going to do a cold sesame noodle with half and then a low mein with the other half, though more veg than noodle in each dish. Haven't worked up the recipes yet, but plan to today sometime. The directions on my package say to drain and boil for 2-3 minutes, then serve however you plan to make them. Do a search for shiratakis on the forums. There have been a million posts about them and how people have fixed them.

I like beef jerky but mine may be different, I have also eaten it since I was a child.

I had the noodles once and absolutely loved them. I stir fried them with some veggies and Beef sausage cut up in small pieces. I think I added some soy sauce too as I was frying it all up. I expected some odd tasted but was pleasantly surprised. It absorbed the flavors from everything it was cooked with.

Beef jerky is best when it is fresh. It is salty but very good. I don't really care for the packaged stuff but, I will eat it when traveling or camping as a snack.

Emma--for the noodles, you'll want to boil them for a bit to remove that fishy odor/taste. Unless you *like* that fishy odor...but I'm guessing if you thought beef jerky was nasty, you won't be keen on the smell of the shirataki noodles, either.

I don't really like beef jerky unless its stuff I make myself. The stuff in packages is overly processed and so high in sodium it's not funny.
