using body products with sugar in them?
ok, this might be a really silly question, but it has been plaguing my mind for weeks now lol and I have done searches online and there are so many conflicting writings about it all
so I just thought I might just put it out here .....
I'm using a new shampoo, Garnier Fructis and then I read the label one day in the shower and it has on the front "Fructose & Glucose" !! Then I read the fine print of ingredients and it has listed .... among other things . . fairly near the top - Sugar Cane extract, & also apple fruit extract, lemon peel extract and apricot kernel oil ....
Now before I'm called crazy here hehe I do actually know for a fact from my high school biology days that certain foods can 'get into' your body via your skin - depending on their molecular structure. Like if you rub the sole of your foot with a piece of garlic, your breath will smell of garlic about 15 mins later (not a good one to try before going on a date lol)
Soooo - if you're standing in this foaminess in the shower .....
Then my mind starts thinking what about sugar scrubs? or body moisturisers with fruits and other sugars?
has anyone else driven themselves to distraction with such questions also? ta guys
