  • I messed up AGAIN!

    well I messed up again... I was at home, and bored and tired...& it was only my third day... I grabbed some cheetos. and ate like most of them up. I know this is WRONG. I am restarting tommorow though, and Monday I will be in summer school for p.e.

    Its the boredom that gets to me...

    Also, does it take your body longer to get into ketosis... I hate this though.... I am probably doing my body wrong

    we all fall, boy have I fallen...Pick yourself up and keep going. It normally takes me about two days to get back into ketosis..

    as for doing the body harm, I think any form of yo-yoing is not good..But have faith. The first few days are the worst..if you cant be at home, get out of the house or have a legal cheesy snack.

    I know its tough but keep coming here for support and never give up...your worth it

        You shouldn't take a laxative. At least that's my point of view. Just follow the plan, exercise, drink lots of water and eat the recommended daily portions of veggies. If you're still constipated take flax seeds.

        In regard to eating when feeling bored. Make a plan of things to do when you get bored, excerise, read in the book, go out and if you need to eat, then just legal foods. Remove all of the forbidden foods from your kitchen. Good luck!

          I didnt take the laxative!

            Don't let your cheat get your down. I've been there a few times and it sure feels awful after the eating is over so I know how you feel. Just commit yourself to getting back on the program. And you will feel better after you do.

            When I'm bored I now try to redirect my attention. Sometimes it actually works if not I get a big glass of water. That fills me so I don't even want to see food!

              Its the boredom that gets to me...
              so if you already know why you are cheating read, walk, dance, run, talk, smile, watch some movie, try new make-up,clean your room, learn, help someone.....sorry if I bother you, but I think that there are just so many things you could do but eating.......you just have to go and do them!

                You most likely live with other people, but if not you should just never have food like cheetos around. (BTW cheetos aren't good for "skinny" people either!) I keep pork rinds around for when I want a good crunch! I dip them in blue cheese dressing and it is so good!

                Also, laxatives will never undo any eating mistake, your body absorbs food too quickly! If you can't "go", try psyllium husk. It is all natural and has benefits for you heart health as well.

                  if you can, just try to remove any temptations from your household.
                  I've thrown things away I'm sure I wont eat anymore anyway, due to the high carb count and I only buy what I am allowed to eat.
                  Sure my boyfriend still has his pizzas and chips and that kinda stuff but he has his special drawer in the freezer as well as in the closet...so I just don't open them
                  has worked well so far
                  Date to reach goal: I don't care, as long as it happens :P
