    Loose Bowels...

    Sorry guys i had to ask this....
    Am on the 7th day of induction...lost 3.7kgs and my clothes fit better...lost some inches...any am really happy with my self...have had lots of self control....( i cook for my family )
    anyway my niggering question is
    Yestersay had abit of diarreah in the morning....today also (twice)......and i noticed i have lost little today(less than other days) i weigh muself every morning when i wake up.
    Anyway is it normal....am not having stomch pains....

      Yep, thru the first week of induction some people complain of diarreah! usually bright yellow!

          Throw in a few pills of Alli and you'll be having a party in your pants!

          Loose bowels and then constipation, it takes awhile for your system to get used to the high fat diet.

                  My problem was just the opposite--constipation! One week into the OWL portion I started getting a bit of diarrhea, which I must say was a relief actually.


                  Be careful when using some of the packaged Atkins items like the protein bars. I found that the MALTITOL in some of those products if used too much can cause diarrhea in some of us.

                      I have had that EXACT problem. For me it was not enough fiber. As soon as I started taking a fiber supplement, it was gone.

                          That still happens to me with sour cream or cream cheese.. the protein bars also gave me the poots LOL well not on atkins.. before that
