Cabbage diet? If it involves eating only cabbage it sounds horrid... and not at all healthy.
Extra exercise is a cool way to break a stall... if there are no other underlying probs like hidden sugars, overeating, medical issues etc.
      Before and after:

      PLEDGING FLIGHTS
Completed: 1st set of buildings and mountains (Everest,M.Blanc & Kilimanjaro, twice); Tower Masts & Chimneys; More virtual buildings; Challenger's Choice x 2 (volcanos and mountains on Mars). Currently climbing: Mount Snowdon again: 416/475

Start 10 Jan 2005. Maintenance since Aug. 2005.

                      Re: Cabbage diet.

I thought it was called "fluffing".....

No. The cabbage soup diet, if you're fallowing it according to the Mayo Clinic version of eating nothing but cabbage soup for one day and then eating a banana or drinking milk or juice and a potato and still eating the cabbage soup with the meat, potatoes, etc. for 14 days...you're not following Atkins.

However, the cabbage soup minus the overly salty seasoning is good for you because of the veggies: cabbage, tomatoes, onions, celery, etc. You can make any soup with legal veggies and call it good, but you have to watch your carb intake and what is allowed during Induction.

Check you inches, don't watch the pounds, drink your water, and exercise. If you stall (4-5 weeks without losing a pound or inch), than you need to do some serious adjusting to what you're eating. If you think you have a mini stall, you might be overeating something in your daily diet thats not working towards weight loss. Like for instance, dairy is a huge factor for some people who can't lose weight when eating it...I'm one of those. I can have limited amounts, but not the full allowance of it or I stop losing.

Maybe post your menu and share what you've been going through (if you haven't already)

Can someone explain to this Brit what a bottle of Beano is? In the UK the Beano is a childrens comic!
