    Hi all

I seem to be puddling along here - losing a kilo or two then sitting stagnant for weeks on end. I use fitday and keep track of my carbs and calories etc. but because i dont lose regularly have not really been able to ascertain my CCLL . At one time i thought i wasnt eating enough so I worked out my BMR and always eat just over that - but still not much Happening . I thought it may be candida so am using acidophilus etc to rectify that. I dont get as much excercise as I probably should so I am hiring a treadmill so I can resume my walking program ( winter here -- cold and dark when I usually get my time to excercise)
I dont seem to be losing inches when the scale is not moving i just seem to stagnate! I was wondering how many calories other people are eating each day and what carb levels they are losing at. I am trying to work out what the problem could be through elimination. I am also on hormonal treatment and taking medication for a panic disorder so maybe that is holding me up . I have lost 15 kilos since christmas which i know is HEAPS and am really happy about that but i still need to drop another 5 kilos to get to my goal and I seem to have come to a standstill! I suppose I need to just be patient and hang in there which I am ... love this way of eating .. BUt i suppose i just needed to vent some of the frustration This board has been wonderfully inspiring and supportive for me and i feel without it I would have not made it this far. A BIG THANKYOU to all of you who contribute and support each other here

    Donna,

I am half way to goal and I noticed your are 3/4 of the way there. I look into the future and realize that the closer I get the slower it will go. I see myself in your post and often wonder how I will feel and how I will get past it. All I know is the last time I had a successful run with Atkins I quit before I reached my goal. I wonder if that is why and want to do whatever it takes to not fall off the wagon again. It was SOOOO hard to get back on track.

Sorry, this is no answer but I wanted to let you know that I wish you the best of luck and am hoping for a great big fat whooshie in your future.

Donna... I know you know it, but I'll just say it again anyway: The closer you get to goal the harder it is to shift those pesky pounds. You need loads of patience for the last ones... they sometimes seem to take forever; but when they're finally gone, it'll seem like you got to goal in a flash.

Hang in there, follow the plan correctly and you'll see goal, I'm sure!

Also remember that the smaller you get the less your body needs to sustain itself. Watch your portions and up the exercise.

Thanks all -- yes i know i have to hang in there --- and I need to have patience - but every now and then it all gets a bit frustrating!!!!! I have installed a treadmill in my loungeroom and intend to up my excercise a fair bit. it's pretty yucky weather wise here ( as you would know MLS - hello adelaide - waving) i just seemed to have yoyo'd up and down and up and down this last month but never getting under the 70 kilo mark . I have a few things stacked against me -- the major ones being the medication I am on . I shall keep on doing what i have been doing and pray to the whooshie fairy hourly ( lol) thankyou all again for your encouragement and input !
