  • Wish Me Luck!

So I've been plotting my new attack on my waistline w/Atkins. I've been debating my coffee & other stuff. Trying to defeat the things that have helped derail me when I've gone back in. I've been wildly succesful on Atkins. Even by "back sliding" these last 6 months - I'm still way lighter than when I started Atkins SIX YEARS AGO. So, I'm a big fan.

Anyway - tomorrow induction comes! Tonight I cleared my carbo-favorites out of the kitchen (and ate a few). Tomorrow off I go.

    Wish me luck!!

That's what I like to hear!!! Good Luck to you too!!

Oddly, I tend to thing these...er...hiatuses are sometimes good. Kind of like hitting the big reset button on your metabolism. However, since it had been SOOOO long and I'd been soooo succesful, I couldn't just go back into it. I had to really look into the eating patterns I'd fallen into.

Good Luck to both of us! It'll work great!

              Re: Wish Me Luck!

Argghhhh....after 5lbs off and some perfect days....I screwed up tonight. Dreadful. Went out to dinner. Was perfect all day; Was perfect all through dinner; but started to eat the desert when it was placed in front of me. Then...had a 1/4 cup of ice cream before I came to my senses. I think the glass of scotch made me inattentive.

Disappointed...but as Scarlett says ....tomorow is another day.

                On induction???

Maybe try holding off the alcohol till you are halfway up the OWL ladder?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
