    Re: Fat Fast

Well, as far as I know, there is a specific way to do the fat fast as outlined in the book. However, Dr. Atkins specifically expressed that it was only to be done for a few days to kick start weight loss if - and ONLY if - one could not lose anything on the induction phase.

Here is a link to the FAQ on this board about the Fat Fast

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

        Re: Fat Fast

The fat fast is only safe for those who are severely metabolically resistent to weight loss, as far as I know.
From what I've seen here at ADBB, those who've done it who haven't met this criterion have come a cropper and regained the weight lost at the speed of light.
        Just a friendly warning...

Yes - i heard that they suffered a lot doing it, and then when they went off, it gained all that weight back and felt yuck!!! I Have ALMOST been tempted to try it during my times of "LIMBO" when things werent moving as fast as I would have liked, but have decided to be Patient and enjoy my food!
