  • gut to abs.

    have any guys gone from having huge bellys to have abs on this diet..? just wondering.
    starting weight:295
    current weight:270
    goal weight:215

    Theres a few around, it is possible, remember abs will not show when you have even a slight layer of fat over them, though they are there under the skin, i reckon our abs challengers have the best six packs ever! can't wait to seem them show them off!

      I'm aiming for it, and Emma's right, you need to get your overall body fat % down really low. Obviously this involves being very strict with yourself on this WOE and exercising hard! Also, depending on how much you've lost and how old you are, how your skin heals etc, you may have loose skin to contend with too.

      The other trick is to work on the core muscles that form the 6-pack. Believe it or not these aren't the ones you work by doing crunches. Obviously crunches help a lot but the real 6 pack muscles are the ones that you activate when you suck your gut in. So do that at every opportunity. Also do body planks and bridges, and try some balance exercises too. Your core strength is vital to every exercise you undertake, and it has the nice side effect of a ripped up 6pack. In theory. I'll keep you posted ;-)
