  • Glycemic index reference?

Can anyone recommend a good book with glycemic index values for different foods?

    TIA!

(sorry if this is the wrong forum, I didn't know where to put this question.)

    Re: Glycemic index reference?

I have an old copy of "The G-Index Diet" by Richard N. Podell that has a good list of G-indexes. The copyright is 1993, though, so I'm not sure it's still in print. It might be easier to just do a Google search for some indexes.

I've been surprised at the similarities in the G-index diet and Atkins, but I've found Atkins works better for me. Hope you find what your looking for.

Thanks! I'm just interested in seeing the values for making decisions about which foods to eat after I am finished with induction.
