    Hello,

    I've had the worst weekend. I started induction on friday after a 2 day binge, i was going to wait until today to start but was off work on friday so i had 3 day to deal with induction flu and i really didn't want to turn a 2 day binge into a week long binge so i started on friday. i had really bad headachs, i was so sleepy, i felt sick and dizzy but i'm so glad it's over so whenever i'm tempted to eat some sugar i will thing about this weekend and how bad i felt and i now know what sugar does to my body. When i've read through other peoples post about induction flu and they say who they 'wake up one morning feeling great' i never understood it because i alway thought it would take me longer to feel better but this morning i woke up and i did feel great. I feel so positive and can see the clear path of what i have to do to get to my target and the finish line.

    Hi Mandy,

    Yes induction flu is not nice but good for you for going through it again. Glad you feel better now

    As you say, it is a good reason to stay on track too.

      Hi Mandy! Sorry you had such a crummy weekend--but you're on the right track now! I never really got the Induction Flu, but after a few weeks on Atkins three years ago, hubby and I "treated" ourselves (haha) to a huge cheat meal. The next morning, I felt so horrible--it was like I had been drinking the night before! Incentive not to cheat, I guess
