  • Hula dance - Yipee!!

I don't know if this is the right forum, but I thought I would tell everyone that I tried Hula dancing tonight, and it was awsome!!!! I was sweating, and laughing, I think that this is definitly a great way to exercise, and a perfect compliment to a perfect WOE!! I don't think that I would have been able to do it 2 months ago, but the energy I have had from the things I eat just came to life tonight!! Not to mention the personality boost - I felt so carefree and, okay, even at 200 LBS., sexy. It's made every bit of "sacrafice" worth it!! I havent really had that (sorry about the cliche) "zest" for life since I was a teenager, but tonight, my little girl saw a mom that she's never met, and it felt like the best thing in the world. Its all due to my will,
and finally discovering the foods that allow me to work at my best. I used to take tylenol and tums every day, for about a year, not to mention the excessive consumption of alcohol, but not now - not since June and never again!!
Thats all, I will try to calm down now...

Good for you! Sounds great! I'd like to try that too. I once found a site (and lost it again!!) where someone gave instructions on making your own hula hoop. It was portable! Apparently, the right size is important.

My daughter wants to go back she's already asked me twice and she's only been up for a hour. It was a great experience, although my butt hurts a bit this morning (but its the good kind of hurt, so thats okay).
