I apologize for cross-posting this but I'm still hoping to find an answer.
I hope I can make this question make sense, so please bear with me. My husband decided to join me on Atkins and started induction last Saturday. He only wants to lose 10-15 pounds and has already lost 6 or 7. At the rate he's going, he'll reach his goal within the 2 week induction period. So then what? I've been on Atkins for almost 2 months now and I'm working up the rungs and still losing. However, if he doesn't need to lose anymore, what does he need to eat? Does he skip the rungs and move straight to pre-maintenance? Should his induction be less than 2 weeks? I'm really confused on this one.
For a little background, he hasn't read the book (and won't
) and is relying on me and a few coworkers for information. I'm playing the role of his personal nutritionist right now and fix all of his meals including packing him a lunch, so whatever I fix for him is what he eats. He's fine with that and has said he's eating alot better and more than before Atkins. However, it puts me in the spot of making sure I get it right. I want to help him out as much as possible because he's been so supportive of me. So what comes next for him?
Also, I'm only on the nuts rung and I may hit my goal before finishing the rungs. Then what do I do? Any help will be much appreciated.
