  • Oily Face

Anyone have this? Lol, even after cleaning it with astringent cleaners, my face later on still becomes oily. Is it because of the olive oil/butter I'm consuming?

Yep, just call me a grease kid. I actually don't mind it because my skin has a natural high-pro glow to it...healthy looking!

I've read alot about the same issue, and folks seem to find that it's the oils and fats that we take in.

Can't say I've noticed any change. Would rather like to have rather more oily skin, actually...particularly my calfs (calves ?) which tend to get lizard-like. I spend a fortune on moisturisers.

Maybe drinking more water would lessen the oily skin for those who have this prob. I say this with absolutely no scientific knowledge... just a "feeling". Might be worth a try, and certainly won't do any harm.

          Re: Oily Face

I personally haven't noticed this...in fact, my face seems LESS oily, probably because my diet is healthier and I drink a ton of water. One reason for over-production of oils is dry skin. Are you drinking enough water? Is your skin moisturized? Once your skin regains some moisture, it will stop producing so much oil.

            Heya guys,

Yea I drink tons of water. It's not skin all over, it's just my face. It always has this glossy look.

I was going to recommend MAC Blot powder, but now that I see that you're a guy, I'm not sure you want to go that route.

Haha, I have no clue what that is . When I move onto OWL Rung 1, I think I might see it clear up, who knows.
