Mini Goals: How do you reward yourself?

    Hey All,

I'm on day 4 (and happy to announce that as of this morning, there are 5 pounds less of me!)

I'd like to set up some mini goals for myself and I was curious how you all rewarded yourself.

Thanks in advance everyone and have a GREAT Atkiny Day!

    ~Kiki

Re: Mini Goals: How do you reward yourself?

I'm going to buy new skis and hit the slopes for a week... once I get to goal. Other than that... I do little things.. I go to a movie. I call a friend long distance and talk. I clean out a closet.. I find that if my house is in order and everything looks clean I'm more likely to stay on task... So cleaning a closet or drawer gives me some satisfaction..

But the best is trying on clothes... I don't buy many as I really don't want to waste money on things that I 'm not going to wear for long.. But I do love to try them on!

I don't have too many goals to set (only 25 lbs to lose) so I'm rewarding every 5 past this first goal! And when I get down to the last 5 lbs or so I may a throw a "fun day" in there and eat whatever I want for a whole day! I still like food rewards and it often motivates me to get to goal whether or not I actually reward myself with it when I get there!! It keeps me from eating bad stuff along the way if I can convince myself that I will eat it... just not today.
