Re: Are there any
Oh, I love it too- and most do have sugar but I know there are some out there that don't. And I'm not on induction so I'm not worried about the list.
Thanks

Re: Are there any
I got a bag of Jack Links jerky last week. It does have sugar, but only 3 carbs, so I thought it would be okay. Since then, something has majorly stalled me out and I haven't made any other changes, so I'm blaming the jerky. I think I'm very susceptible to high-sodium foods, though. But boy, that jerky was good...

Re: Are there any
have you tried making your own? Get a marinade recipe from somewhere like the internet. Eliminate the sugar from the recipe or add some splenda to taste. Marinate the selected meat (you can buy beef or breast of chicken or turkey and cut it into thin/medium sheets. Stick a kabob scewer through the the tops of the meat strips and spread them along the scewer. Balance it from your cooking rack so that the meat freely hangs down between the racks. Put a cookie sheet or foil on your bottom rack so that it catches any juice. Have your oven set at its lowest temperature and dry out the meat until its the texture of jerky (maybe an hour or more, depending on your oven temp.)
It sounds lenghty but it really isnt. You aren't doing any work. You just mix the marinade and let the meat sit........you put the meat on the racks and let it dry out untouched. You really don't do much. This way, you know what is exactly in your jerky

Re: Are there any
I 'won' a dehydrator on Ebay last year and have made jerky several times. It is really easy and makes the house smell great while it is drying too!!Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
