  • How Many calories???

    I am curious to see how many calories other people are consuming and having sucess with

    I dont count calories right now, as im doing extended induction. But im sure one day I will start once I move into the rungs. Im curious about this too....

      I honestly have not counted calories since I have started...just stay on plan and not let myself go hungry....its all pretty amazing when you stop and think about it!

        My fitday shows my average to be 1740 for the last two weeks. I was curious about that too.

          yeah. use fitday.com and put in all the things u eat, you will see your average at the end of the week.

            I am using fitday daily .. was just wondering because i seem to be at a standstill and was curious as to calories others have success with . wanted to check that I was not over ( or under ) doing it!

              My bmi is 1695, and I am usually under that, though I try awfully hard to get between 1500 and 1600. Some days I'm only 1300, and a couple of times I've been way below that. I tend to lose faster when I stay right at or slightly below my bmi. (bmi is the basal metabolic index - the number of calories it takes you to just exist in your body each day. You can find it on fitday if you go to "activities" - you'll see a chart with "total calories burned today" and "basal" is what you should be aiming for) Going well below the bmi puts you into starvation mode and your body will stop losing and just hang on to every bit of water and fat to make sure you don't starve to death.
