Read the ingredients. If I remember correctly it would not be acceptable until the grains rung.
But, just an FYI...... my DH is a diabetic and when he does eat the pasta we see no blood sugar spikes, he spikes terrble with regular pasta or even the multi grains one. You have to be very careful not to overcook it!
I like it too, but like Betty I didn't have it until maintenance. I also don't have it very often... maybe once a month.
Bren is right, you have to wait at least until the right rung and if you overcook it you might as well be eating regular pasta. Shave a minute or two off their recommended cooking time. It's gotta be very "al dente".
Interestingly (re your DHs reaction to it, Bren), my brother who is also a diabetic tried dreamfields, but it didn't work for him. I guess we're all different. Have heard of lots of diabetics who do really well with it.
