  • Fiber and Net Carbs

    Hello All,

    Do you guys subtract your fiber from total carbs eatin to get your carbs for the day? Or do you not subtract the fiber and just go by the total number of carbs eatin?

    We subtract the fiber to get the net carbs!

      Thank you. I was looking for it in the book but couldn't find it. I thought so but just wanted to be sure. Yayyy I can eat more veggies!

        Yes, definitely eat more veggies, try to get at least half of your total allotment of carbs from your vegetables!

          Always nice to see people who want more veggies!! So many seem to have trouble eating enough of those!

          If you find you're not getting as many veggies as you'd like, then I'd advise you move to OWL (ongoing weight loss) promptly (after the two week induction though, if you're still doing that). You can stay on the first rung (extra veggies) for a long time, if you like.
