  • Can Someone Help a Mathematically Challenged Atkineer?

I was just reading Perry's post on FAQ's forum about finding my ideal calories by staying btwn your BMR and AMR. When I went to the links and plugged in my numbers, I got two very different desired calories. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

    My info:
    37 yr old female
    164 lbs.
    5'7" (or 67")
Cardio or Weight Lifting 4-5 x's a week for 60 min.

How many calories should I be eating at this weight to continue to lose?
    Many thanks--

      Your BMR is 1512

but then with your exercising that would push you to around 1764

however, do remember that alike to those weight charts, they're not the same for everyone.

I'd say if you were eating at around 1650-1750 you'd be good

however someone may come along and change that!

Thanks, Emma. OK, so one of them (website) said 1750 like you said (with the exercise figured in there)-- the other one said like, 2300 and I thought--that can't be right! So, I will shoot for 1700 -- unless someone finds something out otherwise. Thanks for the help!
