I discovered something at my Safeway about a month ago that I've really been enjoying. Butter lettuce. Also known as bibb lettuce. I don't care allot for romaine lettuce, too chewy for me. And iceberg lettuce is just crunchy water. But I do like crunchy water
Anyway Butter Lettuce is somewhere in between. But I couldn't find it anywhere on fitday. So I went into a website that told about it and it said it had 1g of sugar! What? I guess I just assumed...........where does the sugar come from? Does all lettuce have sugar in it? Should I stop eating it? Carbs are 2g with fiber as 1g per 1/2 cup. I usually eat about a cup a day. It's wonderful with tuna and mayo.
