  • Omg!!!!!

I don't know what happened...... I had company today. We ate crabs. I drank water. Then all of a sudden after a perfect day, after getting out of the pool I was so hungry, that I ate 2 handfuls of Sour Cream and Cheese potatoe chips. I have not touched a single drop of illegal food in almost four weeks, not a craving one, although I had a minor alcohol set back a few weeks ago, food had NOT been an issue. WTF happened???? Did I just not eat enough today being a couple crabs is all I had? I want to cry What made me do that and why couldn't I stop after the first handful Goodbye ketosis for a few days.

don't beat yourself up Lynsey. We have all messed up somewhere along the way. I hope you figure out for sure what triggered this and try to prevent it from happening again. My advice is to drink some extra water and climb back up on the horse tomorrow and get back in the saddle. You can do it Lynsey

Thanks Brady, I've figured out I was just a dumb *** today. I simply did not eat enough. I had fresh cut celery and brocolli in the fridge and ready, but thought a half dozen crabs would sustain me for a day. Duhhhh, that's only like 300 calories for the whole day when I put it in fiday. Then add an hour long swim, no wonder I was ravenous. Just give me one of these and call it a day.

C'est la vie! It happens...but there's the upside: Now you know not to let yourself get too hungry. If you make sure you always have a legal high fat snack with you, for emergencies, you'll be doing yourself a big favour.

Hang in there, get back on track and drink masses. You can do this!

Swimming is notorious for causing hunger. You need some stick to your ribs kind of food--high fat.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

I don't think it's that you hadn't eaten enough, you were just hungry. I know I'm a ravenous beast when I'm done swimming! Just get back on the wagon, you'll be fine.
Easier said than done, but you can do it.
