Is there a sugar free cough syrup out there?

Good Morning Atkins freinds!

I took some Delsym two nights in a row for a bad cough that just would not let me sleep. It's a wonderful cough medicine and what I always take with 100% success. Anyways, so this morning it clicked that it's probably loaded with all types of syrup and sugar. Too late now!

Does anyone have any suggestions for sugar free cough medicine and/or cough drops?

Elsy, check in the pharmacy at Walmart. They have a complete diabetic section with the sugar free cough syrups.

Thanks Joy. I'm wondering if they have anything that has splenda and not all those other artificial sweetners we're not supposed to have.

Or even something that has no sugar at all.

I don't know, you'll have to go look at them. I doubt you'll find one with splenda. Maybe one with sachharine.

Hey Elsy, I have Robistussin Cough & Cold CF. It's sweetened with splenda and seems to do a decent job.

Well what do you know Joy, Grant says there is. That's great. I'll have to go out and get me some urgently. Thanks to both of you. Now I'll have to go searching for cough drops as well.
