    question about Salsa.

what stage is it legal on? I was thinking about putting a table spoon on my chick burgers? and would it be considered part of the veggies carbs or regular or both?

    Re: question about Salsa.

It depends what the ingredients are. If the ingredients are acceptable for the phase you are in, for example Induction, then the food is legal for the amount the phase allows.

And you count all the carbs that you eat or drink. If a food is made of vegetables, it counts towards the vegetable allotment for whatever Atkins phase you are in.

Pace Chunky Salsa has all Induction legal ingredients and no sugar. Some have sugar. It has 2 grams of carbs for two tablespoons and less than 1 gram of fiber. Remember the tomatoes and onions are on the 'other veggie' list and keep portions smaller. Sunny!

            Thanks, Sunny!
I was going to mention the sugar content and didn't know which one didn't have sugar. Now I know!

Another thing I want to mention: In order to get more bang for my carb buck, I went a step higher on the heat scale. I was a 'medium hot' kinda girl, so I started buying the 'hot' and now I can use less with the same amount of flavor.

Just make your own salsa - it's really easy to do, tastes much fresher, and you know exactly everything that's going in to it.
