  • Should I re-enter Induction?

I've been stuck at the same weight range for the past month already, but then again I have been trailing off of the path lately. I mean I am still doing low carb, but I increased my veggie consumption and others raising my carb intake. Do you think that it is a good idea to re-enter induction? I am getting a bit frustrated. I have around 80 lbs or so till my goal.

How much did you increase your veggies by? If it was done in the correct way, you could say you were in OWL... which would be a good thing. But... what are the "others" you mention? It's hard to say what you should do, without seeing a menu or two to guage what you're eating and how much of it. Why not post a menu in the Review my Menu forum, so that we can get a better idea.

Remember too that the nearer you get to goal the slower the weight loss. Sad but true. Have you tried increasing exercise?

Congrats on your terrific loss so far... the pics tell a great story!

I've been working out at least 4 days a week because I signed up for a personal fitness class at a local college (way cheaper than a gym membership) so I have been utilizing their facility as well as their football/track field every morning before I got to work. Mayebe I should increase he amount of food I eat cause I havenn't been hungry for a while now.

Are you still in ketosis? If so, then there is no need to go back into induction. I think you answered your questions as to why you are stuck at the same weight.

1.) "Trailing off the path" uuummmm, your going to have to get back on the straight and narrow!
2.) "veggie consumption and others raising my carb intake". Wondering what "others" is??

          Watch out for carb creep!!!
Never go 6 hours without eating!

You stated you are working out, did you just start? If so, this could be a reason for your being stuck.

How about inches? Are you loosing inches right now instead of pounds, make friends with your tape measure!

            Ditto everything Bren says.
If you've just started exercising then you could be building muscle which, volume for volume, weighs heavier (I mean, if you have ten cubic cms of fat and ten cubic cms of muscle, the muscle weighs heavier).... so you could be leaner and trimmer, while weighing the same. Do the "old clothes looseness test" or measure.
