I'm 62 and have finished a very clean induction and have introduced some more vegies into my diet. I did lose during induction but I'm still sitting at the same weight I was when I finished induction nearly three weeks ago. Actually, I vary up and back by about two pounds which I am sure must be fluid retention because I can wake up in the morning two pounds heavier when I am sure I didn't consume two pounds of food the previous day! Is it because of my age? Has my metabolism slowed down so much? Increasing exercise is out at the moment. Last Monday I slipped on the kitchen floor and hit the ground hard and twisted my left ankle rather badly. I'd welcome any suggestions, particularly from any over 60's who have been where I am and found a way through. I only want to lose abvout another 10 pounds.
