If it is just that you are not having to 'go' as often as you did before Atkins then remember that you are no doubt eating a lot less 'empty carbs' than before and it might be that you havent got so much 'waste' to make you go!

I cant remember how frequently I 'went' before starting Atkins but now some weeks I only seem to have the need every couple of days, depending on how much fibre I am eating.

If however you feel you are bunged up and want to pass a BM but just cant without pain or straining yourself, maybe you need to look at what you are eating and as Emma suggested add some extra fibre to your menus.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I changed my multivitamin and that helped heaps. I couldnt find a multi without Iron added for a long time so just went with one that contained Iron. Eventually i found an "iron free" one and ever since then the plumbing has worked a lot better. I also use psyllium -- I add it to my mock danish recipe I think it actually improves the mock danish making it more cake like

Would anyone mind recommending me a good psyllium husk brand that I can buy? The sugar-free Metamucil is all orange-flavored and Konsyl isn't 100% psyllium husks. I've taken caps before but would like something to sprinkle into shakes etc.
              Thanks!

As I am in UK brand names would be different, but I just bought plain psyllium husks at the health food shop which the shop buys in big bags and decants into smaller ones with no brand name at all..

The psyllium that is best to get is usually in health ood stores or the health food aisle of your supermarket . It usually just comes bagged with nothing else added

                      My doctor recommended phospho soda.
I had a bad reaction to an increase in cheese.
I am still on atkins, but I keep my cheese intake to a minimum.

Re: toilet -problems sorry in advance

                        DO NOT TAKE PHOSPHO SODA!!!
They use that to clean out your system before you go in for diagnostic tests! That's nuts! It can make you sick as a dog and you won't be able to leave the bathroom. It would be far too rough for your intestines.

Now, eating less cheese is a good idea for now, since calcium can back you up.

You can try eating certain veggies that are high in fiber. For example, celery or Jicama.
                        I highly recommend Jicama.
Jicama is so yummy, you'll really enjoy it and reap the benefits of eating it, too
                        It makes me go.

                        There's also benefiber.

Try everything else before you try ex-lax or phospho soda.
