  • rung 1...rung 2??? what is this?

    Hey, me again!



    I have been reading this forum and keep seeing people moving from rung 1 to 2 etc. What are they and where can I get this info?



    I have the New Revolution (bright orange) book, but cant remember reading about his there.



    Please help!

    It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      It is a bit confusing as Dr Atkins didnt actually use the word 'rung' when telling us how to climb the carbohydrate ladder in Ongoing Weight Loss (OWL) phase.

      He called the groupings of food to add back in order as written in the OWL chapter 'levels' but here (as we are describing levels on a ladder which are usually called 'rungs') we call them 'rungs' too.

      So OWL rung 1 is the same as level 1 of the carbohydrate ladder (more induction-legal veggies), and rung 2 is the same as level 2 (dairy) and so on up the OWL ladder.
      Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
