  • What Can i Do For This Part?

    that little piece of Fat that sits right under your arms... the piece of Fat that your Bra wraps around... i just HATE this little flabby piece!!! what kind of exercise is good for that part? i just Have To get that tightened up!

    Hey Promise,

    It is a shame to say that spot-reduction on one part of the body does not work. You can only lose fat from all over, not from a specific place.

    However, exercising the area can make it look more toned. If you mean fat on the arm them the stability ball thread, press up thread or just generally doing resistance training with your arms will help.

    If you mean like fat on the body next to the arm, that is a bit harder to tone, but any resistance work on the upper body will help - including swimming. As for weights, you could do dumbell rows and flyes to target this area. I would recommend bodypump for all over body toning too, if you have a class near you.

      Altho they say that as you lose weight, the areas that were the last to put on the fat, are the first to come off...I know that my arms and the area you are talking about seemed to go pretty quickly for me. I did a lot of arm exercises, weights (2 pounds) side to side, and swimming.
      Don't know if it was a coincidence or what, but mine toned up pretty well.

        Thank Goodness! i guess its back in the Pool for me! i just Have To get rid of that... it just drives me Nutts! i hate the way it looks and i just Have To tone it up!!!

          Ugh, I just HATE that flabby nastiness there! Mine is better but not gone!! blah!

          Officially Re-Focusing on 12-28-09.

          Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
          Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

          so:
          Restart Progress:
          12/28/09 ~ 235.1
          01/04/10 ~ 229.0
          01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr....
          (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)
          01/18/10 ~ 227.4
          01/5/10 ~ 226.8
          02/01/10 ~ 222.6

            What Alexa said. Lots of upper body weight stuff. It will help tone the whole body.
