Is there any reason I can't use this. I can't imagine it is sugared.

What is bismuth subsalicylate oral liquid-
BISMUTH SUBSALICYLATE (Pepto-BismolĀ®, BismatrolĀ®) relieves the symptoms of diarrhea (without a fever), upset stomach, heartburn, acid indigestion, and nausea. The oral liquid is sugar-free; it is available without a prescription. Generic bismuth subsalicylate oral liquid is available.
