    Ode to the Eggnog Latte

    The second week of November
    Chill breezes whip the ground
But I notice not the breezes for
The eggnog latte returns to town

This creamy mead of Starbucks fame
With nutmeg dust atop its foam
The melodious blast of the frother's hiss
Heralds that I am come home

    Embrace the silky, caffeine bite
    That warms you deep within
And lifts my autumn spirits like
    No other legal sin

The taste of eggnog, rich and sweet
    Evokes every Christmas tree
But alas, my love, we'll no longer meet
    Until you come sugar-free...

Do they still make it? Where can I get it? I've got the espresso machine at home, so we have the technology (we can make it better!), but I need the ingredients. Please advise, and thanks!

Da Vinci Gourmet Sugar Free Flavored Syrups are a low carb syrup that's sweetened with sucralose. Da Vinci Gourmet Sugar Free Syrups have the same world-class flavor as Da Vinci's Classic flavors, but without the calories or carbs. They are extremely popular among low carb dieters and others who are interested in no-ca

They have it! And if you come up with a yummy recipe let us know! I'm into french vanilla in my coffee at the moment.... but LOVE egg nog and that just sounds yummy!!

Re: Ode to the Eggnog Latte

I figure, eggnog syrup, with heavy cream in the frother and then added to the coffee...except I am off of coffee for my (SUCCESSFUL!!!) Slow Losers Challenge.. Maybe lattes are an exception! They really are more of a dessert than a coffee, and I could make it with decaf. Maybe with a slice of low carb cheesecake? Ok, I'd better stop now.

Ha ha -thank you so much Grant. I am not looking at a raise or promotion any time soon (I am a contractor - the job is what it is), but getting the kudos from the board really kinda makes my day. Hence my apparent ubiquitous presence here.

                  Have a great weekend.
